The details

An international luxury heritage brand is recruiting for a Tax Manager to join their business as part of a programme of transformation aimed at upskilling finance capability. This is an integral hire supporting the CFO, Group Financial Controller and wider business operations across all aspects of taxation, with a focus on the indirect tax elements, to navigate complex international tax landscapes.


As the Tax Manager, you will be:

  • Owning all aspects of international trade tax and compliance
  • Identifying high risk tax areas throughout the business' international trade footprint
  • Preparing and delivering of tax reporting calendar
  • Working with external tax advisors and authorities on corporation tax compliance and reporting
  • Analysing indirect tax and VAT impact on the business mitigating risks
  • Advising the CFO on quarterly tax updates and analysis

The ideal candidate will be:

  • CTA, ATT, ACCA or ACA qualified with a strong experience base of in-house tax
  • Able to demonstrate extensive VAT and indirect tax experience
  • Have experience across an international ta landscape
  • From a consumer, retail or FMCG background in an international trade setting
  • 4-7 years in tax accounting, tax management and ideally some experience within a tax leadership/advisory capacity
