Marks Sattin are currently working with a Harrogate based company going through a period of rapid growth, which will continue over the next 2/3 years through acquisitions for the role of Senior Payroll Officer.

The role will report into a Payroll Manager and work within a team of 3, offering Payroll expertise to the team and the wider business of around 1200 employees which will increase in the coming months.

In return, the company will pay up to £40,000 on a full-time basis. Upon completing of training, hybrid working will be on offer.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Preparation and input of payroll data to include the creation of employee records on the HR/Payroll systems and new employee posts/job titles when required
  • Minimum wage checks
  • Payroll checking and reconciling
  • Pensions administration and assessments in line with auto-enrolment
  • Production and distribution of payslips, P45s & P60s
  • Production and distribution of payroll reports
  • Assisting staff with pay related queries
  • Updating employees allocated vehicle records and submitting P46(car) changes to HMRC
  • Benefits administration - maintaining membership lists for various company benefits
  • Assisting with annual P11D and PSA reporting
  • Payroll statistics as may be required by the Office of National Statistics
  • Any other task as assigned by the Group Payroll Manager or Group Financial Controller
