Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently working with a Leeds Centre based business within the tech sector for the role of Senior Payroll Coordinator!
Working in LS1, you will be joining an award-winning business who have been leaders in their market for over 30 years. The Senior Payroll Coordinator will support a Payroll Manager in the processing of Payroll for around 2500 employees across the UK, as well as payrolls in Denmark, Ireland, Australia, Portugal and the US.
This is a permanent role, and will be suited to an CIPP qualified candidate with 5+ years' experience in Payroll within medium to large sized businesses.
Our client will pay up to £38,000 for this role, hybrid working (1/2 days a week in the office per week), benefits allowance (5% of salary), flexitime and more!
Responsibilities of the role include:
- Manage end-to-end processing of UK payroll for 2,500+ employees, as well as payrolls in Denmark, Ireland, Australia, Portugal and the US
- Process new starters and leavers
- Administer company pension schemes, ensuring compliance with auto-enrolment policies
- Manage deductions, including attachment of earnings orders, staff loans and cycle-to-work schemes
- Maintain deep knowledge of PAYE/NIC, statutory payments (SMP/SAP, SPP, SSP) and pension schemes, including auto-enrolment and pension uploads
- Process overtime, on-call payments, pay increases, bonuses and contractual changes
- Use payroll software for imports and report generation
- Maintain payroll standing operating procedures
