Senior Management Accountant | Manchester | 12 month FTC | £45k-£55k | Immediate Start

Marks Sattin are delighted to be working with a leading business based in Manchester to recruit a Senior Management Accountant on a 12 month fixed term contract.

The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in the financial management team. This is an excellent opportunity to be a key contributor to our success and work with a dynamic team in a fast-paced environment

Responsibilities

  • Prepare monthly accounts and reporting packs for senior stakeholders.
  • Conduct monthly reviews of financial performance with senior stakeholders, providing valuable insights.
  • Handle VAT submissions accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Collaborate with senior management to support internal and external audit processes.
  • Investigate and provide insightful commentary on variances between actuals and forecasts.
  • Play a key role in financial decision-making and strategy development.


About you

  • ACA/ACCA/ACMA qualified.
  • Proven experience in a similar fast-paced business environment.
  • Strong background in internal and external audits.
  • Proficiency in financial analysis and reporting.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
