Our client, a market leading PLC with offices in Cheshire are searching for an experienced Senior Financial Accountant to join their team.
This is an extremely varied role, primarily responsible for the transactions finance team but also with responsibility over costs, management accounts and regulatory reporting, specifically your duties will include the following:

• Line management for the operational functions within the Financial Control team
• Oversight of the payroll team output including review and approval of the monthly payroll and associated third party payments
• Responsibility for understanding and accurately recording various revenue streams across core platforms and back office system
• Oversight of balance sheet reconciliations
• Regulatory, Reporting & Stakeholder Management
• Various ad-hoc tasks as directed by the Head of Financial Control

This is an excellent role offering scope for advancement and career development and would particularly suit a finalist or qualified (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) accountant who has solid experience through transactional finance and can actively lead and motivate a junior team.
