Management Accountant - London

Seeking a Management Accountant for a 6-month contract to join a Real Estate company based in Central London. In this position they are seeking a candidate within a minimum of 2 years Management Accounts experience that is in the advanced stages of their studies or QBE level. Exposure and experience within process improvement and implementations would be welcomed in the role along with prior experiences in using manual accounting software's would be very desirable for this position.

Responsibilities:

  • To prepare management accounts for some of the smaller/newer entities, working to agreed deadlines
  • To investigate and report on accounting issues identified during the preparation of the management accounts
  • Attending meetings with senior stakeholders to discuss the management accounts
  • Ensure that selected balance sheet reconciliations are completed/reviewed to agreed deadlines with all reconciling items investigated and resolved promptly
  • Reporting to support with the commercials for each entity - e.g. client profitability, servicing
  • Supporting the implementation of a new ERP system - including helping to test migrated data and any bespoke development
  • Identify and implement improvements to processes and controls
