We are recruiting for an interim Head of Tax to join a Wealth management business based in London for an initial 6-month contract (with possible extension/permanent offer post the contract).



Candidates must have worked in a similar position before, immediately available to start within the next month, need to have financial services experience preferably within the wealth or asset management experience.



Hybrid working on offer for this role.



This position is paying £500 - £600 via umbrella (dependant on experience).



Job Responsibilities:

  • Focus on Corporate tax reporting for both UK & Non-UK business to support the wealth management firm's growth.
  • Oversee the Corporate Tax Provisioning process
  • Review quarterly tax reports for UK & non-UK businesses, improve governance, and provide guidance on tax reporting requirements.
  • Assist UK & non-UK businesses with tax forecasting and consolidate forecasts.
  • Prepare current and deferred tax calculations for UK & non-UK businesses to support quarterly and annual Group tax reporting.
  • Review corporate tax returns and payments.
  • Work with shareholder tax advisors.



Qualifications & Experience:

  • Tax or Accountancy qualifications (CIOT, ACA, ACCA, or equivalent).
  • Immediately Available To Start Employment.
  • Proven experience in managing the International Tax Provisioning process.
  • Strong skills in tax/accounting systems and Microsoft Excel.
