Marks Sattin Executive Search is currently working with a HNW Family Office with a significant portfolio, searching for a Financial Controller who will work alongside and with the CFO and the Investment team, based in Central London.

The Financial Controller will provide broad operational leadership to all the financial and accounting teams, preparation of portfolio valuations in a timely manner for a large group of companies both in the UK and abroad, create customised reports for portfolio businesses and reporting directly into the CFO and Investment teams on an ad-hoc basis.

You will be managing a small finance team and have full operational responsibility for day-to-day finances, in addition to a wide range of other financial duties. These include, but are not limited to, the preparation of cash flow forecasting, budgets and ensuring quality control over financial transactions, liaising with private banks to ensure appropriate management of all bank accounts.

The ideal candidate for this role:

• A qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA), preferably chartered.
• Ideally experience in property, fund accounting and accounting for trusts.
• Build strong relationships across the organisation and be flexible and responsive to a changing market and new ventures.
• Hands-on with a problem solving mindset, and able to respond at pace to ad hoc requests
