The details
A FTSE listed telecommunications company is looking to hire a Financial Accountant on a 6-month contract to assist with the year-end process. Working closely with the Finance Director, you will be pivotal member in the finance team to help the organisation to develop their future plans and ensure steady growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage our audit process in order to deliver audited accounts, being the main point of contact for external auditors.
- Lead in the delivery of monthly management accounts for the business, ensuring all month-end items are efficiently posted, carrying out monthly reconciliation.
- Prepare financial statements for the year end audit.
- Able to resolve any queries and follow up on review points.
- Run weekly calls to review numbers as well as tackle any open issues.
The ideal candidate:
- ACA Qualified Accountant - ideally from Big 4 or Top 10, having audited PLCs.
- Immediately available or on a short notice.
