Start your job searchMarks Sattin are working with an exciting professional services organisation who seeking a skilled and experienced Finance Manager to join their growing team.
As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in overseeing all financial aspects of the organization giving you the opportunity to work directly with Senior Leaders. You will have the opportunity to demonstrate your strong technical skills, which will be valued and enhanced as you build your commercial acumen delivering financial data to shape commercial decisions. Responsibilities include:
- Leading a team of two junior accountants
- Developing and implementing financial strategies to drive business growth and profitability.
- Analysing financial data and providing insights in the form of management packs to inform decision-making.
- Managing budgeting and forecasting processes, liaising with key business leaders.
- Assisting with Technical Accounting - ensure business accounting policies are up to the latest industry practice and technical requirements.
- Overseeing financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Assisting with the preparation of statutory accounts and liaising with the external auditors throughout the audit process.
- Monitoring and managing cash flow to ensure business stability.
- VAT compliance and preparation of quarterly VAT returns.
- Producing payroll, managing external service provider in delivery.
- Overseeing financial reporting and compliance with regulatory requirements.
The ideal candidate will be a driven qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or ACMA) with at least 3 years post-qualified experience preferably in the professional services industry. Strong analytical, communication, and leadership skills are essential, along with strong excel skills and systems literacy.
