Start your job searchMarks Sattin are working in exclusive partnership with an early stage and rapidly growing private equity backed group to recruit a Finance Business Partner on a permanent basis. This is a newly created role and a fantastic time to join the business; reporting into the CFO you will look to grow a division of the group currently operating a healthy EBITDA.
You will be actively involved with decision making, cost areas and driving financial performance through effective reporting, analysis and implementation of process improvements.
The Finance Business Partner role will be paying between £70,000 and £75,000 per annum, 15% bonus, 25 days annual leave and plenty of progression opportunity.
This role is predominantly remote but will require UK travel 3-4 days a month to visit the business units within your responsibility.
The Finance Business Partner Role
You will report into the CFO of this highly acquisitive and fast paced group with objectives based around growth, profitability and cost reduction. Sitting over multiple business units you will play a pivotal part to driving EBITDA, processes, margins and much more. A truly commercial role with a significant growth opportunity for your career.
Key responsibilities include:
- Provide financial insight in relation to project performance and overall business performance
- Drive performance in line with set KPI's and interrogate opportunity areas
- Preparation of rolling forecasts including risk and opportunities
- Analyse and report on P&L and Balance sheet
- Interrogate margins and variances, providing insight to senior management teams
- Develop relationships with recently acquired, owner managed business leaders
- Influence commercial areas of new bids and tenders
- Active involvement with pricing and growth strategies
- Financial planning including budgeting and forecasting
Key Skills and Experience
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA qualified
- Private equity experience would be preferable
- Clear business partnering experience influencing decision makers
- Ability to build strong and effective rapport with non-finance stakeholders
- Strong systems and reporting skills with the ability to manipulate data
