Start your job searchMarks Sattin Executive Search is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to join a fast-growing PE-backed B2B business based in Essex. Working alongside the CEO and a supportive PE house, the CFO will offer strategic insight, support the leadership team, drive initiatives, manage projects, and contribute to a realistic growth plan.
This is a great opportunity for a candidate to lead a valued finance function of a growing business, working with a supportive PE partner on one of their key investments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the finance team as a strategic business partner, overseeing all financial operations.
- Implement robust systems, processes, and controls to enhance strategic and operational value.
- Deliver detailed financial reporting, analysis, and forecasting at the highest standards.
- Drive the business's ambitious growth strategy under PE partnership.
- Prepare and present monthly performance reports to the board.
- Manage working capital and cash flow effectively.
- Serve as a role model, fostering a high-performance culture within the finance team.
- Strengthen relationships with investors and business partners to promote business success and growth.
The ideal candidate:
- A qualified accountant (ACA, ACMA, ACCA)
- Proven experience as a Finance Director or Financial controller from a Privately-Owned Business looking to step up into a CFO role in a PE-Backed business
- A track record of implementing and improving accounting systems, processes and management information and financial reporting.
- Be proactive and entrepreneurial with exceptional interpersonal skills and be a skilled communicator.
