Full-time, Permanent Position

A very exciting new opportunity has landed on my desk, and I am looking forward to recruiting this one!

A well-known Accountancy Practice in South Warwickshire is looking for multiple Bookkeepers to join their Finance Team. Looking for someone to support their client with bookkeeping duties; production and analysis of accounts, VAT returns etc with the occasional site visits - therefore essential to drive!

Main duties include:

  • Bookkeeping for a portfolio of clients
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Production and analysis of accounts
  • Reconciling
  • Reviewing client entries and advising of corrections or efficiency improvements.
  • Processing sales and purchase invoices, receipts, and payments
  • Preparing and filing VAT returns for various VAT schemes
  • CIS submissions
  • On site client visits
  • Communicating directly with HMRC when necessary, undertaking general administration tasks
  • Providing training to clients on various packages and bookkeeping skills as required

Ideal candidate will have the following skills and experiences:

  • Previous bookkeeping experience
  • Worked within an Accountancy Practice previously.
  • Ideally AAT qualified but will consider qualified by experience.
  • Extensive working use of bookkeeping software - Sage, QuickBooks, Xero, CCH central preferable.
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Excel Knowledge
  • Analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Methodical, organised with the ability to multitask.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to offer excellent customer service.
