We are actively seeking a Part Time Accounts Assistant for a highly reputable company in Bootle, Merseyside.
The hours of work are 24 to 30 per week, which can be flexible to suit the candidate!
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.
The main duties include:
- Processing of PO-related Accounts Payable goods invoices and coded non-stock invoices
- Processing employee expenses
- Preparation and process of all payment runs
- Cash allocation for all payments received and made (GBP/EUR/USD)
- Reconciling customer and supplier accounts
- Credit Control - pro-actively manage customer accounts, to ultimately secure payment in full;
- Preparation for monthly and annual close
- Monthly reconciliation of related Balance Sheet accounts
- Assist in the successful completion of annual statutory and bank audits
Our client is looking for a candidate who has:
- Accounts Payable and Credit Control experience
- Good Excel skills
- Reconciliations experience
- A good understanding of VAT returns
