A Global Consultancy Business based in Central London is currently seeking an Accounts Assistant to join the team. This is a fantastic opportunity to work for a fast-growing business with a fun but hardworking culture.

Working closely with the Credit Control Manager & Head of Finance, this role will take responsibility for the sales ledger function but will also allow exposure to month-end reporting and audit processes. Duties will include:

• Taking ownership for processing sales ledger invoices
• Raising and sending invoices of fees due
• Assisting the Credit Control Manager in chasing overdue invoices
• Cash allocation
• Business partnering with key stakeholders to understanding their revenue forecasts
• Assisting with the audit process and liaising with external auditors
• Bank reconciliations
• Month end journal postings including accruals
• Assisting with month-end reporting and variance analysis
• Ad hoc project and process improvement tasks.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 1-2 years' experience working in finance related role, with working knowledge of Accounts Receivable. The role would suit someone who is currently studying towards/ keen to pursue an accounting qualification (AAT/ACCA/CIMA). Candidates must have strong communication skills, good attention to detail and experience using Excel.
