Technical Architect - 2year fixed term contract

A leading Charity is looking to hire Technical Architect - with experience and knowledge of web technologies - on an initial 2 year fixed term contract to join its growing architectural practice.

The role will be mainly home based, and the company is open to applications from across the UK.

Given the sector, this would be an incredibly fulfilling role and would suit someone who is either an experienced Architect or has recently moved into architecture from software development and is looking to progress.

Main Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with key stakeholders of the organisation to define and implement technical strategies and roadmaps aligned with business objectives
  • Design and development of robust technical solutions, ensuring they meet architectural standards and best practices
  • Analyse existing systems, identify areas for improvement, and recommend innovative solutions to enhance performance, reliability, and security.
  • Working with cross-functional teams, including development, operations, and business stakeholders, to drive successful project delivery.
  • Provide Technical guidance and mentorship to development teams, ensuring adherence to architectural principles and promoting knowledge sharing.

Experience Required

  • Proven experience as a Technical Architect or similar role, with a track record of successfully delivering a range of complex projects.
  • Strong expertise in designing and implementing enterprise-level applications and systems.
  • In-depth knowledge of software architecture principles, design patterns, and industry best practices.
  • Proficiency in multiple programming languages and frameworks, with a solid understanding of cloud-based web and digital technologies.
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to quickly identify and resolve technical challenges.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with stakeholders at all levels.
