Tax Manager / North West / £50,000 with Benefits



Marks Sattin are collaborating with an award winning Consultancy that are currently going through some exciting growth and are wanting to expand their Tax team in the North West by bringing in a Mixed Tax Manager.

The Role:

This role is the perfect step for a Senior/ Assistant Manager who is looking for their next challenge. This role also offers opportunities for progression. A key part of the role will be to manage and develop the talented people within your team, while working with the Tax Partners. The role is a mixture of management responsibilities and advisory work on clients that vary in size.



Day to Day:



  • Be a key point of contact for clients regarding Tax matters.
  • Provide Tax advice to OMBs, such as corporation tax planning, R&D claims, property acquisitions and disposals, group reorganisations, capital allowances, EMI option schemes and some international tax matters
  • Provide Tax advice to business owners, including income tax planning, advising on the acquisition and disposal of businesses and properties, inheritance tax/estate planning
  • Maintain positive relationships with regulatory bodies such as HMRC while carrying out enquiries and investigations, including report writing, financial analysis and technical research,
  • Supervise and review the compliance work on some of the firm's larger and more complex corporate clients.



Skills:



  • Ideally ACA/ CTA/ACCA Qualified or working towards.
  • Experience engaging effectively with internal teams, clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Experience managing or working with junior members of the team
