Tax Accountant - Leeds/ Hybrid - £45,000 DOE with Benefits
Marks Sattin, collaborating with an Industry market leader expanding their Tax Team due to sustainable growth within the business. The Tax Team are seeking an enthusiastic and adaptable individual. This role will heavily include supporting the Tax Managers in managing the compliance across various taxes in the UK and Ireland.
The Role:

Day to Day:
- Prepare and review tax returns across UK and Ireland
- Support on the monthly tax reporting and accounting tasks
- Providing VAT guidance to the business
- Working with the tax assistant to undertake monthly reviews of fixed asset additions for capital allowance purposes.
- Prepare and review balance sheet reconciliations.
- Advising the business on changes in tax legislation
- Supporting the Tax Director with projects
- Providing training to other areas of the business to educate them on VAT legislation.
- Liaise with external advisors where applicable.
Key Skills & Qualifications:
- ACA, ACCA or CTA etc
- Experience of UK VAT and ideally Corporation Tax
- Highly motivated and confident to work well as part of a talented team.
- Have a good level of IT skills and literacy, especially Excel
