R&D Tax Manager / North West / £60,000 Negotiable with Benefits

Marks Sattin are collaborating with a well-established Tax Consultancy that are currently going through some exciting growth and are wanting to expand their Tax team in the North West by bringing in a R&D Compliance Tax Manager.

The Role:

An exciting opportunity to join the Corporate Tax function, while reporting to the Head of Tax. With a large part of this role being responsible to liaise with stakeholders and build client relationships. They are looking for someone with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, managing multiple projects simultaneously. A successful candidate will have a strong work ethic and be proactive, with a results-driven mindset.

Day to Day:

  • Manage the compliance process for tax incentive claims and leading on all HMRC compliance matters.
  • Implement and maintain compliance procedures and controls to mitigate risk.
  • Keep aware of changes in relevant tax legislation and regulatory requirements and communicate changes to relevant stakeholders.
  • Be a key point of contact for clients regarding compliance-related matters.
  • Maintain positive relationships with regulatory bodies. Serve as the primary liaison with HMRC.

Skills:

  • Experience engaging effectively with internal teams, clients, and regulatory authorities.
  • Experience working with corporate tax compliance, with a focus on R&D
  • Strong understanding of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements
