My client, a large sporting governing body has advised me that they are looking to hire a Paralegal to assist join their growing legal team in their London Office. My client is looking for someone that is passionate about sport and wishes to develop their legal knowledge within the sports industry. This will be a hybrid working role. The successful candidate will be given the opportunity to work on exciting projects that ensure all the sporting organisations are complying with the current regulations.
Some of your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting with drafting and negotiating commercial contracts as well as general admin tasks for the legal team
- Taking notes of internal meetings and following up with teams across the business
- Working with other members of the team to produce and implement project plans
- Regular research into new laws and regulations in the sports law area
- Liaising with external law firms
- Proof reading and formulating legal documents
- Assisting in managing operational risk
