Your new organisation is a global leader in the manufacture of chemical products. With a rich history, this organisation is at the start of an exciting five year growth plan as a part of which they are looking to hire a permanent .NET developer to join the existing team based in their offices in Liverpool. This is an organisation committed to making positive changes and as a result it's a very exciting time to be joining them.
The Role:
Your new role will be working with a Microsoft technology stack, and you will be responsible for working on modernising web applications, connecting API's, moving data and generally upgrading applications written in older .NET frameworks. Equally, you will be responsible for working on modern Web APIs including GraphQL and Rest. You will also have significant involvement in a number of different projects including developing a bespoke e-commerce system, and upgrading API's on various retail sites as well as potentially working on some front end projects as well.
The Requirements:
In order to be successful in this role, you will have:
- A minimum of 3 years of experience working with C# on .NET frameworks with significant experience of web API development.
- You will have had exposure to Azure DevOps, working with CI/CD pipelines and be able to demonstrate practical experience with power automate & power apps.
- You will also have exerience of utilisng Python, Node.js, React, remix & next.js for web development
- Some exposure to legacy .NET frameworks would also be beneficial
- Any experience of working APIs from Shopify, Amazon, Ebay, Linnworks & JD Edwards would also be highly beneficial.
Crucially, this role requires an individual whom is happy working with a good degree of autonomy, is a fast learner and a self starter, as the team is quite lean and will require someone who can hit the ground running in a number of areas.
