The details

Our high growth client in the tech consultancy and advisory industry are looking for a new Management Accountant to join their growing team in London. Reporting into the Head of Finance, this position is perfect for a part qualified Accountant to expand their financial experience in a fast-moving company.

Key responsibilities:

  • Preparation of monthly financial statements including the P&L and balance sheets
  • Preparation of annual budgets and quarterly forecasts for the group
  • Partnering with heads of departments, being the main point of contact for all finance related queries and assistance
  • Management responsibilities, overseeing the Finance Assistant who covers the accounts payable function.
  • Management of Accounts Receivable function
  • Reporting of accruals and prepayments
  • Weekly and monthly cashflow forecasting
  • Preparation and submission of quarterly VAT returns for all group companies
  • Assisting with the year end audit process
  • Additional ad-hoc duties and requirements

The ideal candidate will be part qualified (ACCA, CIMA or equivalent), with strong accounting experience and an ability to take ownership of the full management accounts process. The candidate she be proactive and versatile, offering solutions and process improvement suggestions, whilst also delivering on all essential tasks. Strong systems experience including excel will also be needed.
