Are you a skilled Management Accountant looking to make a real impact in a dynamic manufacturing environment? Marks Sattin are working with a well-established and growing manufacturing business in Hull who are seeking a talented Management Accountant to join their team. This is an exciting opportunity to play a key role in driving financial performance and supporting strategic decision-making.

About the Role

As a Management Accountant, you will report to the Financial Controller and be responsible for providing insightful financial analysis, supporting business performance, and ensuring robust financial control. You will work closely with operational teams to deliver accurate and timely financial information, enabling informed decision-making.

Key Responsibilities

  • Preparation of monthly management accounts, including variance analysis.
  • Monitoring and reporting on financial performance, KPIs, and operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborating with production and operational teams to manage budgets and forecasts.
  • Costing analysis and supporting pricing strategies for manufactured products.
  • Assisting in the preparation of annual budgets and periodic reforecasts.
  • Developing and improving financial systems, processes, and controls.
  • Supporting year-end audits and liaising with external auditors.
  • Identifying opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.

About You

  • Qualified or part-qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with relevant experience.
  • Strong understanding of management accounting in a manufacturing environment.
  • Excellent analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data.
  • Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and experience with ERP systems.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively.
