·Preparation of weekly management accounts and variance analysis
·Monthly CoS reconciliations, as well as direct cost reconciliations
·Preparation of prepayment and accruals schedules
·Ensure monthly statutory returns are completed in a timely manner, and making sure different state VAT returns are separated correctly
·Assisting in annual budgeting and quarterly forecasting

·Balance sheet recs
·Maintaining and monitoring provisions schedules and rebate schedules
·Complete all duties in an accurate and timely manner
·To work in a safe manner following agreed Health and Safety policy and procedures. Works to ensure that wherever possible tasks carried out minimise environmental impact.
·Adheres to all Company rules and Policies.
·Any other duties reasonably associated with your role.

Person Specification

·Fully Qualified ACCA/CIMA/ACA accountant
·Advanced Excel knowledge and experience of using and other Microsoft packages
·Must be capable of working with attention to detail, accurately and diligently to agreed time scales

·Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a proactive and flexible approach
·Ability to work in a fast paced, busy environment
·Ability to manage and prioritise workload
·FMCG / Manufacturing experience desirable
·Capable of working autonomously when required
