Start your job searchMarks Sattin are working in partnership with a Global business based in Abingdon to recruit a Management Accountant on a permanent basis. A role that would suit a studying (ACCA/ACA/CIMA) accountant with exposure to month end management accounting and a desire to progress their career. A great opportunity to join a business that values and actively develops their team!
The Assistant Management Accountant role will be paying between £33,000 and £40,000 per annum plus excellent benefits!
The Management Accountant Role
A proactive Management Accountant role offering exposure to month end responsibilities whilst supporting multiple areas of the business including information to the Finance Business Partners. You will provide key internal stakeholders with monthly and ad hoc reporting alongside.
Key responsibilities include:
- Preparation of financial statements in relation to actuals versus budget
- Preparation of journals, accruals and prepayments
- Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process alongside the wider team
- Analysis of project performance
- Ad hoc reporting and projects
Key Skills and Experience
- Studying towards ACCA/ACA/CIMA
- Desire to deliver best processes and offer areas for improvement
- Ability to communicate with finance stakeholders
- Intermediate Excel (pivot tables, V-lookups etc.)
- Strong systems skills and ability to manipulate data/reporting
