M&A Strategy Manager - Corporate Finance

A unique role within the Irish Market focusing on Post Merger/Acquisition deals from a Strategic integration and carve out perspective.

When needing "Strategic Advice" once an acquisition has been made or merger has been completed companies will invariably reach out to our client to provide them with a top-down strategy review, reviewing their Target Operating Model across any and platforms. This strategic review offers the company a unique appraisal of their current strategy but also where it needs to be post, Merger or Acquisition.

A real mixture between Strategy and M&A/Corporate Finance is what this role is!

This is a newly created position and will focus on delivery key strategic advice to a range of diverse client's post-merger and or acquisition, PE Investment, IPO and or Target Operating model change.

Day to Duties.

  • Advise senior clients across all sectors, supporting key decision makers in developing, shaping and executing strategies for transactions.
  • Provide dedicated support to different types of engagements, including pre-deal (e.g. operational and IT due diligence, carve-out planning), and post-deal (e.g. integration planning, synergy tracking).
  • Lead blended project teams comprising colleagues from our transactions and advisory practices as well as leading meetings with client stakeholders to advise, shape and drive the planning for integration, carve-out / separation and operational restructuring
  • Contribute to the management of complex engagements, including commercials, resourcing and risk.
  • Support the development and growth of our business, and actively engage with delivery of pitches and presentations to senior clients.
  • Act as a role model and support development of team members, coupled with the recruitment and training responsibilities.
  • Adapt a flexible approach to support on broader Operational and IT transaction work
  • Create and Define key strategies for global clients and act as a "Go To" advisor specifically post M&A transactions.

The Role in short…..

Working closely with the M&A and Corporate Finance teams as well as Project Implementation you will ideally have experience across both Corporate Finance and or Project Management and will enjoy working with Board Level Stakeholders and affecting change after a transaction.

Seeking…..

We are ideally seeking a Project Management professional who has demonstrated experience in working with Post Deal transactions in either a Strategy or Delivery context. Experience in Transaction Services and or Corporate Finance would be an advantage however not a pre-requisite as the position will focus on Strategic Project delivery and advice to clients post M&A activity.

You will have gained at least 6 years' experience and will be keen to join a newly formed division and develop your career within a newly defined service line.

On Offer…

Extensive package including exceptional base salary, benefits, bonus, on site restaurant and café as well as a well-defined career path, superb culture, hybrid working and exposure to extremely interesting projects working on complex solutions and one of the fastest growing Advisory sectors in Ireland and beyond.

Sounds interesting doesn't it…….
