Start your job searchDue to growth, this is a newly created role working in an exciting, dynamic and fast moving media environment. This role will be at the heart of the company's future growth strategy has a high impact across the entire company's present and future business operations globally.
Reporting in to the Director of M&A, responsibilities will include:
- Managing all aspects of an M&A process from start to finish, including identifying target opportunities, negotiating terms, performing due diligence, and reviewing transaction documentation.
- Assist with the overall agreed M&A strategy in terms of priorities, targets and opportunities;
- Evaluate new business opportunities within media production and new business areas for growth
- Identify mergers, acquisitions, partnerships, alliances and/or joint ventures;
- Research, analyse and prepare presentations on M&A and general strategy including analysis with regional colleagues as to new market assessment and related entry strategy;
- Company research and investment analysis, valuation and financial modelling;
- Act as the point of contact for interaction with existing investment companies and monitoring performance against business plan and strategic objectives
- Preparing detailed internal investment proposals, board presentations and M&A update papers;
- Managing the M&A Analyst in the team, support in review of internal approval documents and modelling.
Suitable candidates will have demonstrable M&A experience with proven track record of deal exposure from start to finish. Ideally, you will have gained experience working in M&A from an investment banking background or similar corporate finance/ M&A role working in industry. The ideal candidate will have strong Excel and analytical skills, be well accustomed to working within a competitive and fast pace environment as well as have the ability to build and develop internal and external relationships. Proven interest and professional background in media and entertainment sectors would be desirable.
