Legal Biller - London

Seeking a Legal Biller for a 6-month fixed term contract within an international law firm. The successful applicant will be responsible for ensuring smooth day to day running of all functions and processing of bills in a timely and accurate manner, across the UK and International Offices.

Responsibilities:

• Raising bills and credit notes in the firms practice management system in accordance with the firms' policies
• Editing bills and returning to the business
• Manage client specific billing arrangements
• Liaising with partners, fee earners and PA's to resolve queries
• Process time and disbursements write off's and transfers
• Work closely with other members of the finance team on ad-hoc tasks
• Previous working knowledge of Elite Enterprise and Paperless Proforma is preferred
• A background of billing in a professional services environment
• Detailed knowledge of VAT rules in a legal environment (specifically relating to UK Land and EU VAT)
• Knowledge of "disbursements for VAT" as referred to by SRA
• Flexible attitude to endure deadlines met at all times
