This company is a leading global biotechnology organization specializing in the production of biopharmaceuticals. We have outstanding technologies for the rapid, efficient, and cost-effective production of therapeutic proteins for clinical and commercial supply. Currently, they are the largest dedicated microbial Contract Development & Manufacturing Organization (CDMO) in the world. Our four dedicated and fast-growing production sites are in Germany (Halle and Jena), The Netherlands (Amsterdam), and the United States (San Diego, CA). At our Amsterdam-based center, this organization focuses on the GMP-compliant microbial-based production of recombinant proteins, vaccines, and live microbials as drug substances and drug products.
To strengthen the team in Amsterdam, we are looking for an IT Coordinator!
Job Responsibilities:
- Keep our IT infrastructure running smoothly:Monitor and manage the IT Network Systems and Services daily, providing support and troubleshooting as needed.
- Ensure everything meets our high standards:Make sure IT Network Systems and services comply with GMP requirements and this company's corporate guidelines for IT and OT security.
- Collaborate and coordinate:Work with Managed Service IT Partners and this company's Global IT Teams.
- Maintain legacy systems and support migration:Ensure uninterrupted availability of GMP legacy systems and contribute to a quick migration to this company's IT Infrastructure as carried out by the OT-group.
IT Governance and Continuous Improvement:
- Develop and support IT solutions:Meet business needs while adhering to both this company's Global and local IT and OT Governance standards.
- Plan for the future:Compile roadmaps and year plans for maintenance, upgrading, and innovation activities.
- Drive digitalization and continuous improvement:Focus on tasks with added value and reduce bureaucracy.
- Enable collaboration:Help the OT-group set up their Protected Networks as per industry standards and foster collaboration between IT and OT professionals.
Project Participation and Collaboration:
- Plan and deliver local IT projects:Manage projects from start to finish with relevant stakeholders, communicate through meetings and documents, and escalate issues in a timely manner.
- Maintain project documentation:Generate and maintain required documentation such as project plans, scheduling documents, budget overviews, resource planning, and user requirement specifications.
- Work with Procurement and Finance:Contact and follow up with suppliers.
- Plan and execute training and handover:Work with client departments as needed.
- Provide input for annual investment requirements:Give accurate and timely input to the Engineering department.
Qualifications Required:
- Educational background:HBO degree in Information Technology.
- Experience:Over 3 years in an IT environment with technical and project skills.
- Knowledge:Up-to-date knowledge of Windows IT Network Systems and IT and OT security. Knowledge of SAP 4.0 is highly appreciated.
- Attitude:Proactive and hands-on.
- Flexibility:Serve the business while ensuring compliance processes are maintained.
- Approach:Accurate, systematic, and goal-oriented.
- Communication skills:Good at explaining and getting people on board.
- Resilience:Stress-resistant and ready for a challenge in a fast-changing environment.
- Language skills:Good command of English and Dutch, both spoken and written.
- Eligibility:Reside in and eligible to work in The Netherlands (valid work permit).
