Marks Sattin is currently recruiting for an Internal Auditor where you will be operating as an independent auditor responsible for ensuring contractual agreements are delivered.

Working closely with the Head of Internal Audit, you will be reviewing joint ventures that are established and ensuring key KPI's as well as financial commitments are delivered. With contracts in place for 3-5 years, my client is tasked with undertaking a forensic accounting approach to review

Key responsibilities:

• Preparing and reviewing work scheduling, and estimated time frame for completion
• Analytical Review of draft results, developing method of error detection.
• Develop audit sampling, and information requests which enable meaningful response to deliver assurance over audit risks.
• Overseeing all aspects of an audit, including planning, conducting interviews with individuals who have knowledge of the subject matter, analysing data, fieldwork, and preparing reports
• Monitoring the progress of the audit and communicating with the client regularly about issues or concerns that arise during the process.
• Concluding findings and preparing reports to summarise findings and recommendations.
• Reconciliation of Financial Results to Application from Draft to Final Account.
• Ensuring that audits meet client and legal requirements and conforms to agreements

In the role you will be assisting with:

• Developing policies and procedures for the team.
• Supervising team members and making sure that they are completing their work in accordance with company standards
• Reviewing financial documents for accuracy and ensure required disclosures are made.
• Supporting Senior Auditor on an ad-hoc basis.
• Ideally you will be qualified ACCA, CIMA, ACA and can undertake financial audit reviews
