The details
A high growth real estate development and hospitality business is recruiting for an Interim Management Accountant on an initial 3-6 month contract with the view to go permanent. This is a highly visible role forming part of a wider change programme within the business, undergoing a systems implementation and scaling across existing business lines.
As the Interim Management Accountant, you will be:
- Owning month end close processes and the delivery of management accounts to senior leadership
- Processing journal entries, owning P&L and balance sheet
- Supporting on the delivery of budgets and forecasts along with wider FP&A support
- Assisting in the production of statutory accounts
- Supporting the FC and Group FD on ad hoc analysis and process/system improvements
The ideal candidate will be:
- ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified
- Be able to demonstrate ownership and delivery of month end duties from prior experiences
- A good understanding of financial reporting and stat accounting
- Prior experience within real estate/property preferred
