HR Manager Ireland

To manage the HR function in Ireland, ensuring the HR operations run smoothly and compliance with the local laws as well as the approved HR strategy and policies are achieved.

This role can be based in South Dublin but will require travel occassionally

Key Responsibilities

  • HR planning: Work closely with the country management team and manage preparation of annual HR plans and budgets.
  • HR budget management: Monitor HR costs in the country ensuring the planned budgets are achieved, deviations from plans are efficiently addressed and operational expenses optimized.
  • HR operations: Manage the HR operations in the country, such as personnel administration, HRIS data maintenance, payroll accounting, contracts, etc., ensuring the legal requirements as well as company policies are adhered to.
  • Employee development: Manage the employees training and development in the country to enhance employees' skills and competencies, fostering career growth and succession planning.
  • Employee relations: Manage workplace relationships in the country, resolve conflicts and promote a positive and inclusive work environment.
  • Leadership: Build and manage an engaged and competent manpower in the HR function in the country, by setting priorities and objectives, providing guidance, mentorship and performance management in order to achieve a collaborative and effective work environment.
  • Other duties such as Talent acquisition, Compensation and benefits, Performance management, Compliance, Processes and policies.

The successful candidate will have:

  • University degree in HR Management / business administration or equivalent
  • CIPD accrediatation desirable
  • 5 years in HR leadership position.
  • Proven track record of managing the HR function.
  • Experience in leading and supervising
  • Strong presenting and communication skills essential
