Marks Sattin is working in partnership with a high growth multi-site business based in Bracknell to recruit a Group Financial Controller on a permanent basis. A role that will incorporate a strong technical grounding with experience in audit/statutory accounting, group consolidations and financial control alongside a hands on approach to commercial finance/analysis and post acquisition integration. The role will be paying between £80k and £90k per annum with excellent benefits including 20% bonus, enhanced pension, car allowance. Offered on a hybrid working basis of 2-3 days per week on average.



Group Financial Controller Key Responsibilities Include:

• Ownership of day to day operational finance areas including transactional finance, management and financial accounting. Managing a large team to deliver such areas
• Preparation and delivery of statutory accounting
• Tax compliance (VAT, PAYE, Corporation Tax)
• Supporting the M&A process with due diligence through to post integration work
• Maintain effective financial systems and processes whilst delivering key process improvement and efficiencies
• Actively drive EBITDA via impactful analysis and business partnering with key drivers and KPI's
• Develop and maintain a best in class finance function through strong leadership, development and training
• Drive financial performance within the business through effective analysis, MI and interrogation of areas such as cost and cashflow

The ideal candidate will be:

• Qualified by ACCA/ACA/CIMA
• Technically competent with areas of financial control, audit and statutory accounting
• Consolidations experience
• Strong team manager with mid-large team experience
• Commercial finance experience advantageous
