Role - Financial Controller Location - Skelmersdale Salary - Between £65,000 and £70,000 + benefits
Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing PE backed manufacturing business in their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their office on a hybrid working pattern based just outside Skelmersdale.
The successful candidate will need to be ACA or ACCA qualified and will ideally suit an individual with a practice background and who can display strong technical accounting skills. The ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage workloads is crucial. Advanced Excel skills are essential and any exposure to working with an ERP system would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve:
- Responsible for month-end close
- Consolidation of accounts
- Financial reporting to investors
- Assist with budgeting and forecasting
- Statutory accounts production
- Business Partner with different divisions e.g. Sales, Commercial etc.
- Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and systems
- Management of the finance team
Salary for the role is anywhere between £65,000 and £70,000
