Role - Financial Controller Location - Chester Salary - Between £65,000 and £75,000 + benefits

Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a fast-growing services organisation in their search for a Financial Controller to work out of their office just outside Chester on a hybrid working model.

The successful candidate will need to be ACA/ACCA/CIMA qualified with a strong academic background. Developed technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of working within a business services organisation would be preferable although not essential. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and this role will be required to partner with all areas of the business. Any exposure to Sage would also be desirable. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Key duties for the Financial Controller role will involve:


  • Leading the month end reporting
  • Consolidation of company accounts
  • Cashflow forecasting
  • Profit and loss analysis
  • Assist with the budgeting and forecasting process
  • Present key financial information to senior management
  • Key contact for auditors and banking partners
  • Lead in the development and improvement of processes, controls and systems
  • Management of a small finance team

Salary for the role is up to £75,000 + benefits
