The details
- Financial Planning: Help create the annual 3-year corporate plan and budgets, including analysing financial assumptions and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Financial Reporting: Develop reports and financial models to support business decisions, using tools like IBM Planning Analytics.
- Tender Support: Assist in pricing and analyzing bids for contracts, routes, and evaluate profitability.
- Performance Analysis: Analyze financial performance at the company and garage levels, explaining variances from forecasts and budgets.
- Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with senior management, providing financial insights and support for decision-making.
- Qualifications: Fully qualified accountant (CIMA, ACCA, ACA) with post-qualification experience.
- Commercial Acumen: Proven experience in a finance role focused on delivering value and improving processes.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and summarize findings effectively.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; experience with IBM Planning Analytics and Oracle is a plus.
- Knowledge of IFRS 16: Familiarity with lease accounting standards is desirable.
