Marks Sattin are currently recruiting for a global technology business in their search for a Deputy Finance Director to work out of their office based just outside Wilmslow with a hybrid working model.
The successful candidate for the Deputy Finance Director role will need to be ACA/ACCA or CIMA qualified and must have worked for a complex business previously. Strong technical accounting skills are absolutely essential and any experience of consolidating accounts would be preferable. Advanced Excel skills are crucial and any exposure to working with an ERP system would be a distinct advantage. Excellent staff management skills are crucial as is the ability to work to tight deadlines. Any exposure to working for an international organisation would also be preferable. Key duties for the Deputy Finance Director role will involve:
- Producing and consolidating month end accounts for a number of legal entities
- Lead on improving processes and systems throughout the organisation
- Assist with the integration of newly acquired businesses
- Prepare and review year end statutory accounts
- Business partner with IT, Commercial and Sales
- Key contact for auditors
- Produce and present key financial reporting
- Management of the finance team
Salary for the role is up to £88,000 + car allowance and additional benefits.
