We are actively seeking an Assistant Management Accountant for a well established company in Manchester City Centre.
This is a fantastic opportunity to join a very successful business on a permanent basis.
The main duties include:
- Analyse financial information to enable business profitability and growth.
- Prepare journal entries for month-end and year-end journals.
- Produce accurate management reporting to support key decision making.
- Process payment runs as requested and required.
- Assist with producing statutory and management accounts
- Monthly balance sheet reconciliations
- Year-end audit deliverables
- Relevant commercial analysis
- Provide assistance with annual budgeting, reforecasting, and financial planning processes.
Our client is looking for a candidate who:
- Has experience of assisting with management accounts
- Is currently studying CIMA, ACCA or AAT
- Has balance sheet and financial controls experience
- Has good Excel skills
- Has the desire to progress within finance
