We are actively seeking an Assistant Accountant for a well established company in Manchester City Centre.

The main duties include:

• Assist in month end reporting
• Analysing periodic expenditure
• Preparing accruals and prepayments to produce Budget Vs. Expenditure Reports
• Invoice preparation and processing
• Oversight of regular bank reconciliation process
• Supplier Invoicing and payments
• Assist with the resolution of queries from various stakeholders
• Processing bank entries, including all cheques and credit cards

Our client is looking for a candidate who has:

• Experience of working in a busy finance role
• Experience of assisting with month end reporting
• Excellent communication skills and attention to detail
• A desire to progress in a finance career
