Start your job searchMarks Sattin are currently working with an East Leeds company within the care sector, for the role of Accounts Clerk. Reporting to the Purchase Ledger Manager, you will work to process all Sub-Contractor invoices and applications to the ledger while ensuring they are reconciled/processed correctly against purchase orders.
This nature of this role is lower volume, higher value with lots of investigative work relating to queries and managing key supplier relationships.
For this position, they are looking for experienced Finance Assistant with strong communication skills and enjoys fact finding. It would be hugely beneficial if you also had experience within the construction industry.
For this role, they will pay up to £28,000 plus bonus on a full-time basis.
Key responsibilities include:
- Deal with supplier issues and complex queries while escalating to Purchase Ledger Manager where required.
- Manage own key Subcontractor Supplier's while having attention to detail making sure the applications are reconciled correctly against the PO
- Support in the preparation of weekly BACS payment runs for review and ad hoc faster payments to ensure subcontractor suppliers are paid on time
- Responsibility for all statements to have been reconciled and missing invoices requested.
- Building internal and external relationships
