Private equity newly qualified fund accountant
- Permanent
London
The details
I'm currently working with one of the world's leading buy-out PE firms who are looking for an ambitious recently ACA-qualified professional to join their finance team in central London!
The firm makes bulge-bracket investments into some of the most exciting companies in Europe with a particular focus on technology and media. Your role, as a fund accountant, will be to manage all finance for the funds that invest in these businesses and, to some extent the businesses themselves - it will be your responsibility to monitor the performance of these businesses.
The duties include:
- oversight of the fund administrators' work; reducing financial reporting to a minimum.
- valuations; work alongside the investment team and senior management to produce and provide valuations.
- portfolio monitoring; you will be working closely with the portfolio businesses as well as the relevant investment partner to monitor the performance of investments as well as provide better analysis.
This position is ideal for any professional wanting to leverage off their ACA whilst also gaining more commercial exposure within a fund; this includes working closely with the deals team and investor relations would provide you with exposure to valuations, fund-level financing, and treasury work.
Salary is up to £60k + 30% bonus, flexible working and a dynamic culture.
