Fund Accountant - Private Equity - 12 Months Contract

A fantastic opportunity has arisen within an ESG focussed private equity firm who looking to hire an experienced private equity fund accountant on a contract basis.

• Day Rate: £450-550 per day via umbrella firm
• Duration: 9 -12 months covering maternity leave
• 3 or 4 days in the office

This interim fund controller role will suit an experienced fund accountant who has been specifically working in an inhouse role within private equity close ended funds.

Responsibilities may include but not be limited to:

• Oversight of fund administrators (providing shadow accounting)
• Providing capital calls and distributions
• Review of IPEV quarterly valuations
• Preparing equalisation calculations
• Review of Financial Statements for the funds
• Liquidity management
• Tax & fund structuring

What our client is looking for in the successful candidate:

• Qualified Accountant (ACA or equivalent)
• Inhouse private equity fund accounting/controlling experience 3 years +
• Strong systems skills / good with Excel
