A leading London based brokerage is currently seeking an VP Level FX product controller to join their highly regarded product control team. This management opportunity has arisen at an exiting time for the business as they up skill their middle office function

Responsibilities will include:

• Manage a team of 3-4 product controllers
• Supervise the delivery of daily FX exposure calculations.
• Develop an independent P&L verification process that incorporates price testing
• Manage the daily / monthly general ledger reconciliation exercise for balance sheet and off balance sheet reconciliation for FX activity
• Monitor all FX exposure impacting the general ledger, Develop and provide reporting to senior management which outlines the drivers of exposure and provides analysis and instruction on hedging exposure.
• Help automate the FX exposure management

The successful candidate will be a qualified accountant with extensive experience within a product control function. They will have a good understanding of financial products and good a strong grasp of accounting within a control function. They will be delivery focussed and have previous management experience
