********* CALLING ALL FUND ACCOUNTANTS **********

A globally operating and rapidly growing Fund Adminstrator are looking for a Qualified Accountant with experience providing high quality accounting, fund administration and investor reporting services to real estate, debt, infrastructure and private equity fund clients.

This is a 4-6 month contract paying £350-£450 per day.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Daily contact with clients, booking regular in-person meetings & handling client requests.
  • Implement policies, procedutes and checklists for your own portolio of clients and customer relationships.
  • Compile and analyse financial information underlying the financial statements, including the treatment of business transactions.
  • Duty to oversee all work produced by the team including the preparation of management accounts at asset and fund level including supporting files.
  • Prepare Consolidations, Cashflow forecasting and treasury work.
  • Production of quarterly NAVs
  • Bank debt covenant reporting.
  • Investor tax, CIS and VAT reporting.
  • Team planning, developing junior accountants and coaching
  • Plan year end audit - liaising with external auditors and clients
  • Preparation of statutory financial statements in accordance with IFRS or UK GAAP.

Required Technical Knowledge/Skills:

  • Private Equity, Real estate fund or asset management environment preferred
  • Strong technical accounting skill with up to date knowledge of UK GAAP or IFRS and other relevant accounting standards, and related preparation of statutory financial statements and auditor liaison.
  • Resourceful and problem solving
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Confident and proactive approach and professional attitude to work
  • Highly organised with good time management and planning skills
