Our Globally recognised food manufacturing client based in Grimsby is looking for a Finance Business Partner to join their team in Grimsby. you will be part of a culture that values innovation, quality, sustainability, and customer satisfaction. You will also have the opportunity to work with diverse and delicious products that are sourced responsibly and sustainably from over 50 different protein sources from 5 continents.
You will be a key team member of the finance/operations cluster, reporting on yield and labour performance for varying timescales. Support a continuous improvement plan, improving data feeds and communication from factory floor through to the Head of Operations, reporting accurate/meaningful data to support accurate informative decision making
Key Accountabilities:
- Assistance in the preparation of monthly accounts for the Cluster.
- To act as a professional and trusted financial support to the Finance Cluster Lead and Head of Operations across all operational costs.
- To act as a professional and trusted financial support to the Finance Cluster Lead and liaise at a cross functional level
- Ensure MI is consistent, honest, open, routinely reviewed.
- The application of financial rigor to all activity to ensure value for money.
- Preparation and reconciliation of all stock items internal and external, highlighting any risks of obsolescence.
- Collecting, analysing, and reviewing quantitative data and creating meaningful reports to drive business improvement and cost reductions
- Root cause analysis and uncovering core issues using data
- Assist in the trending of reports and material variances communicating reports in a timely manner.
- Assist with development, and implementation of policies and programs that guide the organisation in maintaining and improving its competitive position and profitability
- Work with data source providers and technology teams to ensure that key decision data is accurate.
Experience required:
- Experience in manufacturing / operational accounting.
- Evident confidence in presentation, communication and negotiating with professional peer groups.
- Efficient in delivering objectives and key measures.
- Track record of delivery
- A personal commitment to role model behaviours
- A working understanding of Microsoft Office
- AAT Qualified
- Studying towards or ability to complete CIMA / ACCA
