Position: Fund and Portfolio accountant.

Role:

  • Support the execution of accounting activities in relation to the fund financial and operating information, as well as fund related calculation
  • Maintain a good working knowledge of, and ensure compliance with, fund LPAs and investor side letters
  • Assist in preparing capital calls and distributions, with associated correspondence to investors
  • Assist in preparing capital calls and distributions, with associated correspondence to investors
  • Produce valuation and accounting reports. Assist with portfolio monitoring and valuation of investments, and liaise with deal teams and portfolio companies as needed
  • Liaise with deal teams and in-house legal counsel when making investments and divestments, providing support and performing analysis
  • Calculate fund level and deal level IRRs, and perform both ongoing and ad hoc analysis

Requirements:

  • Qualified Chartered / Certified Accountant with a big 4 / top 10 firm, and preferably with audit experience gained regarding PE/VC firms or other types of investment managers
  • Excellent commercial judgment and analytical ability
  • Compliance knowledge is a plus. Strong technical accounting and analytical skills, working knowledge of IFRS.
  • High IQ and strong academic track record
  • Strong growth mindset
  • Out-of-the-box thinker with strong problem-solving skills
