We are currently working with a pan-European real estate investment manager with investments spreading across both core and emerging markets throughout Europe. They are looking for a Fund Accountant to support the Fund Controller by overseeing the fund's management and financial and management reporting whilst also dealing with investors and getting involved in new and exciting deals.

This real estate fund manager has multiple investment strategies in various real estate sectors with a head office located in central London. The company remains a boutique, allowing the successful candidate to understand the entire company as the investment portfolio grows and gets involved with the multitude of investments.

Aside from core accounting activities, the role itself will provide you with the opportunity to assist their asset manager in Luxemburg and to liaise with financial investors whilst analysing investment portfolios in detail. The role will allow the successful candidate the freedom to think creatively to improve current systems and controls and allow you to work both individually and as part of a team, driving new projects forward and motivating and managing others.

The business is looking for a newly qualified accountant ACCA/ACMA/ACA perhaps working for a competitor real estate fund or a Fund Accountant Finalist/Newly qualified) working for an administrator that is looking to move in-house.

Due to the nature of the role, previous experience in real estate is key, with experience dealing with funds essential as they are looking for someone able to get stuck into the business straight away.

For immediate consideration, please apply now or for further information, contact Sunil Basra at Marks Sattin.
