Marks Sattin Executive Search presents an exciting opportunity for an accomplished CFO to join a cutting-edge Global Manufacturing and Engineering business poised for a significant Private Equity milestone in support of their enduring business expansion goals. Demonstrating remarkable margins and profitability, the business is steadfast in doubling its Enterprise Value through a strategic blend of organic growth, pioneering product development, operational enhancements, and strategic business acquisitions.

In alignment with this growth trajectory, the business is actively seeking a seasoned Chief Financial Officer to spearhead the existing transactional finance function, overseeing financial strategy, and steering pivotal financial projects. This role is tailor-made for an adept CFO who thrives in the dynamic environment of a rapidly evolving and high-growth business.

As the Chief Financial Officer, you will collaborate closely with Shareholders, Key Stakeholders, Non-Executive Directors, and potential Investors. Your responsibilities encompass the day-to-day guidance and development of a proficient team managing transactional activities across diverse currencies and territories. Your strategic financial prowess will shine through short, mid, and long-term planning, inclusive of meticulous budgeting, in-depth analysis, and comprehensive reporting.

You will be instrumental in crafting content-rich board reports, investment decks, and debt financing proposals. Your expertise will extend to producing detailed forecasts for Shareholders, Prospective Investors, Private Equity Houses, and Banks. Identifying avenues for cost efficiencies to elevate margins and profitability will be a key facet of your role.

Furthermore, you will lead M&A endeavours, covering valuations, due diligence, and post-acquisition integration. Taking the helm in the Private Equity transaction, your focus will be on securing optimal value for shareholders and cultivating strategic equity partnerships to propel the business toward future growth milestones. Seamless collaboration with operational functions, including Sales, Manufacturing, and Procurement, will be crucial in identifying financial efficiencies for enhanced EBITDA and Enterprise Value.

The Ideal candidate:

  • CFO with successful manufacturing track record.
  • Holds professional accounting qualification (ACA, ACCA, ACMA).
  • Expert in strategic and transactional finance leadership (strategic planning, forecasting, budgets, M&A).
  • Strong ability to create content-rich financial presentations.
  • Experience within Private Equity businesses, ideally involved or led a PE event.
  • Proficient in debt financing, especially for funding acquisitions.

Please note that due to the high volume of applicants only successful candidates will be contacted with further information about this role.
