The details

A dynamic, rapidly-growing business based in the Wilmslow area is looking for an ACCA / ACA / CIMA part-qualified / nearly-qualified accountant to join their fast paced team in a client facing role. The business is looking to more than double in size over the next 12 months and so it is an exciting time to join. Reporting into the senior management team, you would be responsible for communicating with a number of clients and dealing with their accounts. This role will be demanding and will suit a career focused individual who is keen to learn and determined to progress.
You will be responsible for, but not restricted to:
- Preparing statutory year end accounts
- Secure company information from clients in order to prepare quarterly management accounts
- Timely preparation of Quarterly VAT returns
- Filing personal tax returns for Directors
- Communicating with a large number of clients and maintaining client records
- Taking a customer "lead" through a selling process to company set up
- Other ad hoc duties as required
The successful candidate will be at least half way through their ACCA / CIMA / ACA exams, preferably a finalist, with excellent communication and client facing skills. You must be very confident, eager to learn and have a strong bias towards customer services. Knowledge of SAGE accountancy systems and a B grade in GCSE Mathematics is also desired, but not necessarily essential.
