Corporate Finance Manager - Infrastructure & Energy - Dublin
As interest rates continue to stabilise with one or two further reductions possible in 2025 across the Eurozone appetite for large scale Infrastructure Investment continues to grow especially given the lack of Investment over the past 15/20 years in the local market.
The effect of this is has been continued positivity in Capital Investment Projects both across the Public and Private sectors.
Given the above my client is seeing this renewed appetite flowing through to large scale projects across Infrastructure, Energy and Renewables and are duly seeking to add to their head count with a strong Manager and Associate Director within their Infrastructure Corporate/Project Finance team based here in Dublin, although looking at projects in Ireland and internationally.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain sophisticated financial models, including discounted cash flow (DCFS) projections, sensitivity analyses, and valuation models to support strategic client decision-making.
- Ensure that financial models comply with industry standards and best practices.
- Working closely with the Partner as well as other departments in both Ireland and internationally on complex infrastructure and government lead project and corporate finance mandates.
- Review Excel and AI Based models under supervision and arrive at preliminary conclusions.
- Understand, manipulate, and interpret financial data and client information, drawing appropriate conclusions.
- Understanding our client requirements, co-developing our approach with the client, and providing value to our clients through insights, factual conclusions, and advice
- Carry out relevant analysis and present your findings (both written and orally).
- Day to day progression of assignments to include planning, preparing, and reviewing various forms of deliverables to include reports and presentations.
- A focus on anticipating and identifying risks that require escalation and subsequently escalating these risks to more senior staff as appropriate.
What we are seeking:
The successful candidate will have gained at least 5 years plus experience (But can be up to 10 years given the AD role) and come from a Financial Modelling, Valuations, Investment Banking, Corporate or Project Finance background and will also at least masters Level qualified, ideally CFA, ACA, ACCA, CIMA or CAIA qualified as well.
On Offer:
The opportunity to work across some of the most interesting and complex Infrastructure, Energy & renewables projects is a significant carrot both in terms of the role but also its affect on your future career aspirations across the sector.
The Culture, Environment and team is second to none, brilliant package and excellent base salary with a healthy bonus and a team of leaders that you will undoubtedly learn further from.
